What to Expect

  • Before Your First Visit

After scheduling your initial visit to Mesa Natural Health Chiropractic, our team members will email the new patient intake and consent forms to you, or you can download them by clicking on the button below. We ask that you provide as much detail in your paperwork about your specific needs and health history. This will help the doctors connect with who you are and help us serve you. You must have the paperwork filled out before your first visit to the office or your appointment may be rescheduled.

  • First Visit

When you arrive at our office for the first time, our staff will have you fill out a questionnaire if you have not already completed it, and make sure to answer any questions you may have about any of the content. The doctor’s assistant will then welcome you to our examination and consult room, where they will perform a few foundational tests to get a baseline of how your body is functioning. The doctor will soon join you, and you will have the opportunity to discuss your history and health concerns. They will then perform a detailed analysis and adjustment if indicated. Please plan to spend about 75 minutes with us.

  • Second and Third Visit

The doctor’s assistant will take the opportunity on your second visit to connect with you about how you felt after your initial visit. They will provide you with a deeper look into the brain-body connection and how it might relate to your present condition. The doctor will then continue to adjust you on your second and third visits according to how you responded after the first day. Your body adapts to structural changes over time, and more often than not it takes a few visits to start to reverse these changes in a way that can be seen and felt both subjectively and objectively. The doctor will use these two appointments to assess how your body is responding to the care and how your nervous system is integrating the adjustments.

  • Fourth Visit

By the time of your fourth visit, the doctor has gone over the results of your analysis and treatments, and has created a care plan specific to your individual health needs. At this visit, we will sit down and discuss our treatment recommendations along with any additional exercises or evaluations (such as x-rays) if needed. During this time, you can ask any questions or voice any concerns that you may have about your care plan and the next steps that will be taken to help you achieve your health and wellness goals. Please note that this visit will take approximately 30 minutes.
