What to Expect

  • Before Your First Visit

After you schedule your initial appointment, we'll email you the new patient intake and consent forms. We ask that you fill them out completely- the more detail you give us about your health history and what's been going on, the better we can help you.

Here's the deal: you need to have your paperwork completed before your first visit, or we'll need to reschedule. (We know, paperwork is annoying. But it's worth it so we can spend your appointment time actually helping you instead of filling out forms.)

  • First Visit (about 45 mins)

When you arrive, our exam assistant will take you back to the exam room and run a few foundational tests to get a baseline of how your body is functioning. Then the doctor will join you to discuss your health history, what's been going on, and what you've already tried.

After that conversation, they'll perform a detailed analysis- and if it's appropriate, you'll get your first adjustment that same day. No surprises, no pressure. We'll explain exactly what we're doing and why before we do it.

  • Second and Third Visit (about 10 mins)

These appointments are all about seeing how your body is responding to care. We'll check in about how you felt after your first visit, continue with adjustments, and assess how your nervous system is integrating the changes.

Your body adapts to structural changes over time. It usually takes a few visits to start reversing dysfunction in a way that can be both seen and felt. We're paying attention to how you're responding so we can adjust our approach if needed.

  • Fourth Visit (about 30 mins)

By your fourth visit, the doctor has analyzed your results and created a care plan specific to your needs. We'll sit down together and go over our recommendations- how often you need to come, for how long, and why.

This is where you get to ask questions, voice concerns, and understand exactly what we're recommending. We'll discuss any additional evaluations if needed (like x-rays), and make sure you're clear on the next steps.

Here's what you should know: Our initial treatment plans are typically around 4 weeks. We're not asking you to commit to coming forever- we're asking you to commit to a clear plan with a specific goal. Get better, stay better, and get back to your life.
